Above the 57th parallel in Nunavik, QC on the George River, accessible only by air, now sits a spectacular Atlantic salmon fly fishing lodge.
…But the amenities weren’t always so spectacular. All of the dilapidated accommodations and gathering areas were reimagined from top to bottom to create the gem that it is today. Every nail flown in from 1000 miles south, every post & beam cut and milled onsite.
Throughout the lengthy process, we said countless times “we need to rusticate” this or that- meaning our intention was to renovate it, but by maintaining a rustic, classy feel- a rustication.

Diving into the world of real estate

We have a passion for finding older homes with good bones and transforming them into timeless spaces that honour their original character while incorporating the comfort, functionality, and quality expected by today's homeowners. Our second endeavour began by completely "rusticating" our 1975 home—reimagining it with natural materials, handcrafted timber features, and thoughtful design details that brought new life and character to the property. The experience reinforced our belief that an older home, when renovated with care and craftsmanship, can become something truly extraordinary.
That passion is now at the heart of what we do. In addition to our custom timber frame projects and cabins, we are actively transforming homes throughout Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec, creating distinctive properties that blend rustic elegance with modern living. Whether it's a simple architectural enhancement or a complete home transformation, our goal is always the same: to create homes with lasting character that families will be proud to own for generations.
